How Rico Brunner works · finding and reading your field
Rico recognizes your field by its signature. Then he looks at where it isn’t functioning, and he puts nothing into it that he doesn’t see.
It is a perception he has had since childhood and has been training in his work since 1998. It can’t be checked from outside, and he says so too.
How Rico recognizes your field
According to Rico’s perception, every person has their own energy field signature. It is as unmistakable as a fingerprint. He says that, from his perception, it is “impossible to mix up”.
A trace of this signature comes with everything you do. That applies to an email just as much as to an order. Rico specializes in recognizing from very little of it whose field it is. Then he looks for the field itself.
“And when you order remote energy work, I get all the information I need through the order for the remote energy work.”
Rico Brunner
Your name and your date of birth are there for administration. According to Rico, they contribute nothing to the reading: “There’s no information in a name, there’s no information in the date of birth that is individual.” What carries it is the action with which you get in touch.
The signature isn’t fixed, though. It changes with your field, because the field learns, reacts and develops. That is why Rico reads it anew every day instead of relying on a picture from yesterday.
Your order carries a trace of your signature. From it Rico recognizes your field and reads where it isn’t functioning. Not needed: a photo, your location, a preliminary conversation or your history.
Why your location doesn’t matter
A body is in one place. According to Rico, an energy field doesn’t know this kind of distance. He points to something many people know: that you can feel the affection of someone who isn’t even in the same room. He calls this abstract himself, and it is.
Your field is found through its signature, not through an address. That is why the work goes on even when you are on holiday, moving house or having a busy day. You don’t have to sit still or be reachable for it.
“And the good thing is, I can also work when someone is very stressed, when someone has no time, when someone is on holiday, when someone is moving house and moving further away from me, or wherever.”
Rico Brunner
When he reads, there is no clock for him either. He describes the state in which he works as a time that is “as if stopped”, “like a still image”. In the field, he says, there are processes, but no time in the usual sense.
What he sees when he looks
Rico doesn’t see images, colors or an aura. He says he could see the aura if he wanted to. But he prefers to work where there is nothing left to translate. A color would have to be interpreted, and every interpretation can be wrong. What he sees is, in his words, already evaluated.
His comparison is a car mechanic looking at the engine, or a programmer reading source code. Someone reading the code doesn’t see what the program means in a person’s life. They see where it gets stuck and why.
“So you could say, if I wanted to look at an energy field as a whole, it would take months. And that’s why I’m forced to look only at the areas that don’t function.”
Rico Brunner
Taking it in is quick. Explaining takes longer, and Rico says openly that seeing comes more easily to him than describing.
“Taking in the energy field only takes me a fraction of a second. Explaining what I take in during that fraction of a second, on the other hand, then takes minutes”
Rico Brunner
What Rico reads
- how your field functions
- the places that don’t function
- how a place would function
- in what order things continue
- where each part stands at the moment
What he doesn’t read
- where you are
- your life situation
- how you look
- the content of your life
The last point on the left concerns everyone reading this. Whether you are going through a hard time, want to keep what you have achieved or would like to move forward: Rico reads your field the same way every time. In doing so he sees that different parts have come different distances. There is more on this under Help, Stability, Development.
Where this perception comes from
Rico has had this perception since childhood. For him it was normal. Only as a teenager did he notice that others don’t see what he sees. Since then he has been developing it, by his own account out of calm and curiosity, not out of a technique.
“Even today, now that I’m quite a bit older, I still work on the principle of natural perception. That means my perception keeps developing out of stability, out of my natural curiosity”
Rico Brunner
The gift is the precondition. On its own it wouldn’t be enough. Rico stresses practice: he says he has practiced for thousands of hours in his life, and on top of that come over 60,000 sessions since 1998. He avoids the word “clairvoyance” because it sounds esoteric. He speaks of perception.
Part of this is a photographic memory for energy fields. What he has once seen in your field, he keeps. That way he sees how it stands today and how it has moved since.
“when I look at an energy field today, I want to know, what did the energy field look like yesterday, the day before, a week ago, a month ago?”
Rico Brunner
Looking without your field noticing
At the beginning of his work, Rico came up against a problem you wouldn’t expect. When he concentrated too strongly on a field, he no longer saw it as it was. The field adapted and entered into a relationship with him. He would then have been reading his own effect instead of your field.
“And that’s why I had to learn to be so much with myself, to stay so much in my center, that I could observe energy fields without the energy fields noticing this observation”
Rico Brunner
Out of this came two ways of looking, and their order is fixed. First he reads without your field noticing. Only once he has understood where a place isn’t functioning and why does he look at it consciously. Then his understanding of your field becomes visible.
Based on Rico’s description. The division into three boxes is an aid to presentation.
Seeing what is there and adding nothing
For Rico, the most important thing about his reading isn’t its reach but discipline. Our brain fills in what it only half sees. At the edge of the forest, a large shadow quickly becomes a bear. In the forest that can save your life. When reading a field, it distorts the picture.
“Not to interpret, but to have the strength, to have the discipline to observe until you see right to the end what it really is, and you don’t distort the picture of the energy fields through an interpretation.”
Rico Brunner
So for himself Rico only allows two answers. If he looks at a wall and sees that it is made of wood, he knows it. If he doesn’t see it, he says: no idea, it could be something else. Then he doesn’t speculate. He doesn’t trust his perception blindly either. He checks it all the time.
That is why remote energy work runs without a preliminary conversation. What you tell him, your assumption, your concern, would steer his gaze. People he knows well he can actually read less easily, because his personal impression gets in the way.
“If I’ve never seen someone who orders remote energy work, I don’t have to block out my personal impression, because it isn’t there, and so I can concentrate fully on the perception, on reading the energy field”
Rico Brunner
And there is one more thing he reads in the field: the order. It isn’t he who decides what comes first and how fast it may go. Your field shows it. Rico tells how you learn to see such places at all with an image from his childhood in the mountains. It is on the page What Rico reads in your field.
“And so it isn’t me who sets the tone, it’s the energy field that sets the tone: how fast can I work, where do I have to work, in what order, what needs to be strengthened? And I can read all of that in the energy field.”
Rico Brunner
What he doesn’t see, and your secrets
Rico says clearly where his perception ends. He can’t say where you are. “What I can’t say is where someone is.” Nor can he say how you live: “And I can’t say the life situation either.” And he doesn’t see how you look. For that he would need a photo, and a photo is precisely what doesn’t show the field.
At this point many people ask about their secrets. Rico looks at the places where your field isn’t functioning, not at the content of your life. If a field wants to hide something, all he notices is that something there isn’t naturally integrated. What it is and why, he doesn’t look for.
“People’s secrets don’t interest me. I find that boring.”
Rico Brunner
What he finds fascinating is something else: how a field functions.
What you can check and what you can’t
Rico’s perception can’t be checked from outside. He says so himself and expects that nobody will believe some of it. So skepticism is allowed, and you don’t have to believe in it for him to be able to work.
What you can check is the process: what you provide, what isn’t needed, and whether what he describes fits what you observe in your everyday life. How to do that without effort is explained under Observing instead of feeling.
Questions that come up often
- Do I have to be open to it?
- No. Rico says it takes neither openness nor being closed. According to his description, how fast and how well he can work is determined by the mechanics of your field, not by your attitude.
- Does my field notice that you’re looking?
- Not while he reads. Rico has learned to observe in such a way that your field doesn’t notice. Only once he has understood why a place isn’t functioning does he look consciously. As a rule you yourself notice neither. Why is explained under Why you don’t feel everything.
- Is this clairvoyance?
- Rico doesn’t use the word, because it is associated with esotericism. He speaks of a differentiated perception. He sees your field, not your location, not your circumstances and not what you are doing at the moment.
- Should I send a photo or tell more?
- No. A photo shows how you look and how you are dressed, not your field. A conversation would create impressions that get in the way of neutral reading. You are still welcome to write down what is on your mind. What happens with it is explained under Your concern.
- What if Rico can’t make anything out in one place?
- Then he says so and doesn’t fill the gap with an assumption. The work is done on what he sees.
Where to go next
What Rico does once he has understood a place is explained in Information, not energy. Which five levels he distinguishes in your field is described under What Rico reads in your field. Rico tells more about his way of reading himself in the How I work section.
