How much support does an energy field have right now? Energyology™ describes three states. They are not grades and not steps you have to climb. They describe how well the balance in the field is working right now.

Help is fleeting like a free fall. Stability is fluid like being in water. Development is solid like firm ground.
Every level can be in any state, and a person can be in several situations at once.

Help · fleeting
Like a free fall without any support of its own. Right now the field finds little to lean on. This can also be the case when it seems stable in good weather.
Stability · fluid
Like being in water, where your own movement carries you. The field holds itself up as long as it keeps moving, even when it rains.
Development · solid
Like walking on firm ground. The field stands securely, even in wind and weather, and can move on before it has to.
What all three have in common
They are situations, not ratings. They show how well the balance is working right now, not how much a person is worth.
Several situations at once
A person is rarely entirely in one state. Each level of their field can be in a different one. In private life there may be little support right now, in the relationship enough, and at work someone may want to move forward. That is normal and not a contradiction.
That is why Energyology™ does not place you in a single group. If you find yourself in a hard phase, that does not define you. If you want to develop, you are not excluded when there is less support in one place.
Why the state at the top counts for more
The higher the level, the more its state decides how a person experiences a situation. It is like a tower: at the top you feel most clearly whether the ground holds. More on this under The three levels.

Questions that come up often
- Is Help worse than Development?
- No. The states describe how much support a field has right now, not the worth of a person.
- Can I decide for myself which state I am in?
- The state shows how well the balance in the field is working. Most of that happens below the waterline, see The iceberg.
