What an energy field is

You have a body that you can see. There is also something that belongs to you that you cannot see and that still holds everything together. In Energyology™ it is called the energy field.

Everything that is not body

An energy field cannot be explained in one sentence. This one comes closest: your energy field includes everything about you that is not physical. It is the invisible structure that holds everything together.

It is not the same as an aura. What many people perceive as an aura is only the outer edge. The levels I work on lie much deeper, and there are no colors there anymore.

An energy field works instinctively, through mechanisms, stimuli and interactions. You don’t have to steer it. It responds on its own to whatever you encounter.

From the cell to the whole field

A person is made of cells, even if you only see the body. The energy field is similar in a different way. I call its smallest building blocks cells. They are smaller than atoms.

Such a cell is a movement: an action with its counter-action. Every movement creates a pattern of its own. Cells stay separate and never merge with each other. Many cells form a swarm, swarms form groups, and groups keep connecting until your whole energy field comes into being.

No field is like another

Every energy field has a signature of its own. I can no more mix up two fields than two fingerprints. Unlike a fingerprint, though, the signature does not stay the same. An energy field learns, responds and develops, every second.

That is why there is no standard solution in Energyology™. The principles apply to every field. How they show up is different in every person.

Like clockwork

You can picture an energy field like the works of a clock. When all the gears mesh properly, the clock shows the right time. If a gear is missing, if one is bent or a tooth has broken off, the whole works no longer runs properly, even if the rest is fine.

The clockwork shows how a field functions. It is less good at showing how the parts act on each other. There it is more like a round table where a thousand people play ping-pong with five hundred balls: every ball that lands somewhere changes the game in other places. These interactions make an energy field complex, even though in principle it works simply.

Questions that come up often

Is the energy field the same as the soul or the psyche?

No. According to Energyology™, the psyche is not part of the energy field. It has its own discipline, psychology. The energy field includes what is not physical.

Can I see my energy field?

Most people don’t perceive it directly. What they feel is often only a small part of it. More on this under The iceberg.

Does my energy field change?

Yes, all the time. It responds to everything you encounter and learns as it does.
