Your development journey

How long the work on your energy field takes depends above all on where you stand on your development journey and where you want to go. Where you want to go is your decision, not mine.

How I work · your development journey

An energy field never stops developing. Where your journey goes is up to you.

I make sure the conditions are right. Your energy field sets the pace, and I don’t give a time frame.

Why development is natural

It is in human nature to develop. Every energy field, too, is oriented toward further development of its own accord, without anyone having to push it. Every cell in it strives to grow beyond itself and to unfold its potential.

What is good, what strengthens and supports, prevails in the process and is supported further. That is the intact, natural state of an energy field.

“A child stops growing at around 20. And an energy field actually never stops growing.”

Rico Brunner

Sometimes development goes so slowly that it looks like standing still. It never stops completely. Even at ninety, a person can still develop a great deal.

Where you stand right now

I distinguish three areas a person can be in, and I call them streams. Depending on which one you are in right now, your energy field looks different.

1

Help stream

In the Help stream, the energy field does not work as it should in important places, and you need support.

2

Stability stream

In the Stability stream, your energy field takes over much of what needed support before. It can carry itself with the energy it has and balance out the unexpected.

3

Development stream

In the Development stream, your energy field carries. You are stable and still want to move forward. Support is then no longer a necessity.

Within itself, each stream has the same three movements once again: Help, Stability and Development. This creates nine positions, and they are not the same. Help at the beginning means that the foundation is missing. Help further up means that the foundation holds and you are growing into something new.

Three streams with three movements each make nine positions. Schematic: the steps show an order, not a schedule and not a time. In each area of life it can be a different position.

Often you don’t stand in the same place everywhere. In the family it can be a different stream than in a relationship or at work. “I am stable” and “here I need help” therefore don’t contradict each other. You go on your development journey in each of these streams.

Where you want to go

Some people want to get out of a hard time. Others want to hold on to what they have achieved. Still others want to move forward even though everything is going well right now. Each of these answers is fine, and it can change.

Even someone who wants to stay where they are does not stand still. There is movement within every stream, and within it you keep moving. In my observation, people who have a perspective or are working toward one have a more stable and stronger life. Where your perspective leads is for you to decide. I don’t set a path for you.

Three phases of development

Every development journey has three phases: a beginning, a middle and an end. I compare them to a pyramid, where the bottom layer is built at the beginning, and it is the widest. After that the layers get smaller, until in the end only the tip is missing.

BeginningMiddleEndnext journey, new leveland another one
At the beginning, the bottom, widest layer needs the most. The layers get smaller until only the tip is missing. After that, the next journey begins on a new level. Schematic, without a time frame.

At the beginning, the work takes the most time. Often little has changed yet, even if someone has already worked on themselves a lot, just not in the place where it arises. In the middle, part of it is already in place. It needs less. At the end, only a little still has to happen, and from the outside it then looks like a lot. Someone who is already at the end when they come to me is rather rare, though.

Why the layers get smaller has to do with the energy field itself. The better it works, the faster I can work. How long it takes for you cannot be predicted, because it depends on where you stand right now and where you want to go.

Why it takes time

What has built up over a long time cannot be taken down all at once. Your energy field removes a small piece of it every day. If everything happened at once, the whole system would be thrown into disorder.

That is why I work with many small strengthenings instead of a few big ones. That way your energy field is not overwhelmed, and many small steps can add up to a big one. Sometimes, later on, I can strengthen a place with little work where it wasn’t possible before.

How fast it goes is not up to me. Your energy field sets the pace. If you take your time and don’t rush, you let the work continue without interruption. There is no shortcut. Anyone who takes one needs time for that too, and still has to walk the actual path afterwards.

How the path can feel

At the beginning, a big step often can’t be felt. A lot has already happened, and yet it feels as if almost everything is the same as before, because so much still lies ahead of you.

An energy field that is changing also needs strength. That is why the beginning can feel tiring, even while something is moving.

“Development is never linear.”

Rico Brunner

Often it goes three steps forward and then one back. A step back like this often prepares the next steps, and if there is one, it is usually just one. How much of all this you feel varies. More on this under How you experience the work.

How my work supports your development

Your energy field has its own blueprint, and this blueprint develops too. Natural development follows it. Forced development presses the energy field into a form that doesn’t suit it. That is why I don’t make your energy field into anything other or anything better than what it is.

“I am a gardener who makes sure that the soil is always dug over, that there is always enough sun, enough water …”

Rico Brunner

A gardener does not pull on a plant to make it grow faster. He provides good conditions, and the plant does the growing itself. That is how I work too. I look at what is holding back the development of your energy field and put exactly that place in order. When the conditions are right, the whole develops further on its own.

In doing so, I give your energy field an impulse, and what it makes of it, it decides for itself. After a nudge, it keeps working without my involvement. It has to walk by itself; I don’t pull it along behind me.

This also applies when you are doing well and want to move forward. Then my work accompanies the next stage, and it looks different than in a hard time. Why I don’t set a goal in this is explained under Working process-oriented and No manipulation.

What holds development back

If an energy field is overwhelmed because the pressure is too great, it has no strength left for development. If its growth is blocked, one of its most important abilities drops out, and you notice that you can no longer keep up with life.

Force holds it back too, whether it comes from outside or from yourself. And waiting holds it back, because no paths arise while you wait. There are always two directions, forward or back. A place where nothing happens anymore doesn’t exist in life. In my experience, anyone who stands still is already on the way back.

What holds development back

  • pressure that is greater than the strength of the energy field
  • force, from outside or from yourself
  • waiting, because no paths arise from it
  • a shortcut that does not spare you the actual path

What gives it room

  • conditions that are right
  • many small strengthenings instead of a few big ones
  • the pace your energy field sets
  • a perspective you choose yourself

At the end, the next journey begins

When you have reached the end of a development journey, you set out on the next one at a new level. In doing so you grow beyond yourself again and again, and you are never finished. It is similar with a soccer league. Whoever was at the very top of their league is back at the bottom in the next league up, and that has nothing to do with them not being good.

“Development is infinite, and the combination of development is even much more infinite.”

Rico Brunner

Questions that come up often

How long will my development journey take?
That cannot be predicted. It depends on where you stand right now and where you want to go. Your energy field sets the pace, not me.
Do I have to get to the Development stream?
No. Where you want to go is your decision. Even someone who wants to hold on to what they have achieved keeps moving within their stream.
I am doing well in one area and not in another. Does that fit together?
Yes. Most people don’t stand in the same place everywhere. In the family it can be a different stream than in a relationship or at work.
What does it mean when things take a step back?
Development does not run in a straight line. A step back often prepares the next steps, and usually it is just one. What to do when things get harder is described under When things get harder.
Can I shorten the journey?
There is no shortcut. If you take your time, you let the work continue without interruption.
Will I be finished at some point?
No. At the end of one journey, the next one begins on a new level. An energy field never stops developing.

Where to go next

How I find and read your field, without a photo and without your history, is described next under Reading the energy field. Why I work on the causes is described under Working on the causes. Why I don’t set your energy field a goal is described under Working process-oriented. What the three situations Help, Stability and Development look like in The Field (remote energy work) is described under Help, Stability, Development.
