The in-person session

Please note: personal sessions, in person, by phone and by video (Zoom), are held in German only.

You come to my practice in St. Gallen, and we sit in the same room. I read your energy field as in every session, and you experience me directly.

What to bring

Nothing. For the reading, I need no documents and no history.

People have been coming to my practice since 1998

I have had my own practice since 1998. I was in my mid-twenties at the time. In the beginning, the session only existed in this form: whoever wanted to know something came to me and sat down across from me.

Over the years, I noticed that many people could not come regularly. Their work did not allow it, the way was too far, someone was stuck in traffic or had moved away. That is why the session is now also available by phone and by video. The practice has remained, as the place where it all began.

People who come to the practice today have very different reasons. Some are going through a hard phase and would like to sit across from me. Others have achieved a lot and want to understand how to hold on to it. Others again want to move forward in their work, in a relationship or in themselves. Often several of these apply at once, in different areas of life.

An in-person appointment, step by step

From the outside, a session looks like a conversation between two people at a table. Behind it, for me, there is the same sequence every time.

The overviewI look at your field as a whole, then from top to bottom.
Your questionsI answer them from what I see in the field.
You decideWhat you make of it and whether you come back. The booked time is billed.

For the overview, I draw a simple figure and note keywords next to it: first the whole field, then in order head, heart, belly, down to the feet. This sketch gives me orientation for the whole conversation. Only after that do we turn to your questions. What you tell me shows me how you experience something. Where it comes from, I see in the field. How this works in detail is described under How a session works.

What is different in person

I don’t read your energy field any differently in the practice than by phone. What changes is the setting. We see each other, we sit in the same room, and the conversation has more space.

Rico’s words

The main difference is really that in the practice you get information, that in the practice I can explain more things.

Rico Brunner, podcast

In person, the session is at its most personal, because you experience me directly. You see how I look, how I think things over, how I search for words. For many people, that is exactly part of it.

Perception up close and from a distance. Schematic.

Whether you sit in front of me or are far away makes no difference to reading your field. The difference lies with you, in what you experience. This is how I once put it:

Rico’s words

So basically, nothing happens in person that cannot happen at a distance. … And the experience is the biggest difference.

Rico Brunner, conversation

If it fits: laying on of hands

In the practice, there is something that is not possible by phone or by video. If it fits and you would like it, I lay my hands on you during the session. I still do this often today. Whether it is part of the session is something you decide too. The session is complete without it as well.

Who the in-person session suits

The practice suits you if you live within reach of St. Gallen and like to meet me in person. Many who come in person have quite a lot they want to talk about. They want to ask follow-up questions, check an image against their life or hear once more, in more detail, how something fits together.

If the journey is too far for you or you cannot find a free appointment in the practice, the same session is available by phone and by video. In content, you get the same there. How the three forms differ in length and billing is described under One session, three forms.
