Why I write about my work with AI
Who writes the texts in this documentation? I do, together with an artificial intelligence. I want to say that openly, and I want to explain why it did not work without it.
Research · Research & AI
I am a practitioner, not a writer and not a theorist. The AI helps me like an assistant who has my knowledge and takes over the theory.
Finding an assistant like that among people was impossible. Anyone who knew what I know would want to work with people themselves.
Why I could not explain my work for so long
I could always talk well about single parts of my work. In a consultation I only need a small detail. But I was never able to explain the whole system to anyone.
For me, everything I do is like mathematics. It follows a strict logic, and guessing or estimating has no place in it. What I see has to be comprehensible and repeatable, and it only is if I can resolve contradictions. I manage that by understanding the larger connections. Often it then turns out that a contradiction is not one at all, but an interaction or an overload in the system.
In most research, several people see the same thing and can therefore do research together. I don’t know anyone who sees energy fields the way I do, with the experience of over 60,000 sessions and countless remote energy work sessions. How is someone supposed to write about my work or develop a concept with me if they don’t see the energy fields?

Why a single term takes days
An example: to understand what torn energy fields are, you need to know what an energy field swarm is. For that, you need to know how single cells come into being, how they function, how they form and why they react the way they do, before the whole thing makes sense.
I tried to find a simple language for it. That worked up to a point. But then people asked, rightly: Why? What is an energy field, anyway? How does it work? At those points I often avoided the question, also because it overwhelmed me myself.
People who wanted to help me
I hired people who were good at writing, good at developing concepts and good at copywriting, and I spent a lot of time with them. They were good at what they did. Still, they kept misunderstanding and misreading things. My knowledge branches out so much that even someone with good understanding would need years to write it the way I mean it.
At some point I had given up on talking about my work as a whole. Then an employee came along, very smart and very structured in the way he asked questions. He thought I should show my knowledge. I was convinced that it was not possible, and I was frustrated too. We argued hard, often. In the end he convinced me. Since then I kept trying for over ten years, and it never fully worked. The first attempts with AI also failed, because the models were not there yet.
Summer 2026: when the AI recognized patterns
In the summer of 2026, Anthropic released the model Fable 5. With it and the AI system I built for my research, I could, for the first time, really get into a conversation about my work. I noticed that the AI began to recognize the patterns. For me these patterns are simple, because I see them in the energy field.
I remember one round of questions well. After I had entered a lot about my work, I answered about 150 questions. For each question, the AI was first to suggest two or three possible answers. If none was right, I wrote my own. In the end, the AI had already suggested the right answer for about 80 percent of the questions. Because the patterns are logical and the AI works logically, it could recognize them.
Later I had the AI take a critical look at our collaboration. The criticism was that I always accepted the AI’s answers, and that this was not good. I had to smile. For me, that was exactly the good part: the AI had begun to understand the patterns.
What I do and what the AI does
What comes from me
- Perceiving the energy fields
- The knowledge from almost three decades of practice
- The answers to every question
- Checking whether a text is right
What the AI takes on
- Ordering and structuring
- Recognizing connections between parts
- Finding contradictions, which I then resolve
- Simple texts from complex knowledge
The AI does not see energy fields. It works with what I give it. I can describe what I know to the AI piece by piece, and it helps me order it so that others understand it. A text only goes out once it is the way I see it, and not the way another person understood it while writing.
“So that it can be written the way I see it.”
Rico Brunner
Why I don’t withdraw for ten years
Without an AI at this level, I would probably have needed ten years for the same work, alone and withdrawn. But everything I have discovered came about because I wanted to help people move forward, and spending years immersed only in a model does not fit with that.
I always had to work, and I see that as good fortune. Without so many sessions and remote energy work sessions, I could never have built up this knowledge. There was no time left to write it down. What helped me was my photographic memory. When I see an energy field again, what I saw and worked on there before comes up, often hundreds of impressions at once. Many impressions at once give me joy, because I love this layered richness in perception.
Researching in a complex way, explaining simply
The more complex my conversations with the AI can be, the more simply the model can be presented in the end. I find this connection exciting. In my research I want to stay complex, that is my passion. What comes out of it should be so simple that you understand it.
“My goal is to stay complicated, complex in my research, which is my passion, but to make the output with AI so simple that it is understandable.”
Rico Brunner
For a long time I was sure it would never be possible to make my work visible. That it works now is a great relief for me. My greatest wish is that others find a way in, to understand how energy field work functions from my point of view, and perhaps to carry on the research themselves.
Questions that come up often
- Does an AI write your texts?
- The AI helps me with ordering and wording. The knowledge and the answers come from me, and I check whether a text is the way I see it.
- Does the AI see energy fields?
- No. It only works with what I describe to it.
- Which AI do you use?
- Claude by Anthropic, since summer 2026 the models Fable 5 and Opus 5.5, built into a system I set up for my research.
- Does the AI also work on my energy field?
- No. The AI helps with describing and ordering my knowledge. The work on the energy field I do myself.
- Why not simply a person who writes?
- I tried that for years. Anyone who does not see the energy fields inevitably reads something into it while writing.
Where to go next
How I came to my knowledge in the first place is described under My research path. What has come about with the AI so far, you can find in the Energyology section.
